๐ŸŒ™ Still awake?

Every evening, a little closer to Jesus.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Do not be afraid

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 1:20

โ€œJoseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child she is expecting is from the Holy Spirit.โ€
Matthew 1:20

Fear can be incredibly loud.

It whispers:

โ€œWhat if everything goes wrong?โ€

โ€œWhat will other people think?โ€

โ€œWhat if I make the wrong decision?โ€

Perhaps Joseph felt the same way.

He did not know what his future would look like.

He did not know how people would react.

He only knew that everything had turned out differently from what he had planned.

And at that very moment, God says:

โ€œDo not be afraid.โ€

How often we find these words in the Bible!

Not because there are no problems.

But because God is greater than our fear.

God knows your worries today as well.

He knows the thoughts that keep you awake at night.

He knows your uncertainty.

And yet He says:

โ€œDo not be afraid. I am with you.โ€

Your questions may not disappear today.

But you do not have to face them alone.

Because God walks with you.

And that makes all the difference.

๐Ÿ’ญ Think about it

What fear would you like to consciously place in Godโ€™s hands this evening?

๐Ÿ™ Prayer

Dear Father,

You know my fears and my worries.

Thank You that I do not have to hide them.

Please give me the courage to trust You more than my feelings.

Remind me that You are with meโ€”tonight and every new day.

Amen.

๐ŸŒ™ Sleep well.

Your loving Father holds you close.

See you tomorrow.
